Cross Country 2019

On Thursday, October 3, 2019 our boys' and girls' cross country teams competed in the Whitney League Championship.  

 

The girls won their 30th consecutive meet, ending their season undefeated and with a 6th straight Whitney League Championship win.  Janae Espinoza took first overall, with back-to-back Whitney League Championship wins, and setting a new course record.  Alexandra Gonzales took second, Samantha Martinez took third, Estella Limones took fourth, Blessing Evans took seventh, Cassiney Horn took eighth, and Gloribel Mendoza took ninth. 

 

The boys also won, making it 4 straight Whitney League Championships for them.  Austin Martin took third overall, followed by Jose Sanchez in seventh, Gordon Woods in fifteenth, Salvador Martinez in sixteenth, Chase Fisher in twenty-third, Zach Chapman in thirty-third, Alesandro Escarzaga in thirty-fourth, Xavier Mendoza in thirty-sixth, and Ramsey Barrios in thirty-seventh. 

 

Congratulations are due to all our Hawks as they competed well and exemplified great sportsmanship throughout the meet.
